Tully’s totalhealth Pharmacy, Castlerea

Tully’s totalhealth Pharmacy is a family run community pharmacy with three pharmacists and 12 staff.

John Tully 

(Pharmacist)

John began his career in 1966 after studying in University College Dublin. John has extensive pharmacy experience and knowledge in all aspects of medicine. Having over 50 years of knowledge gives John the edge when it comes to Community Pharmacy. He knows his customers by name and enjoys engaging with each and every one of them.

Catherine Hanly

(Pharmacist)

Catherine works in a team of three pharmacists, 2 qualified technicians and 10 staff. Catherine's main responsibilities lie in dispensing to two psychiatric homes in Castlerea, as well as to nursing homes in the area. Catherine is also a key part of the dispensing team and advises patients at Tully’s totalhealth Pharmacy. Catherine’s empathetic nature, her excellent listening skills and the fact that she is so knowledgeable has made her very popular with patients.  

Nial Tully 

(Supervising Pharmacist)

Nial is a 3rd generation Tully Pharmacist and is delighted to be continuing pharmacy tradition in the family in Castlerea.

Nial joined the family pharmacy, Tully’s totalhealth Pharmacy in 2002 having qualified as a Pharmacist.  In 2015, Nial took on the Superintendent and Supervising Pharmacist roles.  Nial has recently been promoted to a Director of the totalhealth Pharmacy Group. Nial is currently studying cardiology in clinical pharmacy at Trinity College Dublin. Nial is committed to developing Tully’s totalhealth Pharmacy as a destination pharmacy into the future, where each customer’s medical and healthcare needs are met in a holistic way so as to be of maximum benefit to that particular person. Nial believes in total patient care that considers the whole person - mind, body, spirit and emotions give optimal health and wellness benefits. Having a capable pharmacist helps everyone in the long run, it frees up doctors, saves money and it gives patients a healthcare professional to confide in.
